When we got Emma and Elliott, Emma was pregnant and due shortly. Being she was so young and underweight, I was very concerned about this breeding, but determined to make the best of it. The breeding of them does nothing to contribute to the betterment of the breed which is the only time I feel dogs should be bred because of the overpopulation of unhealthy and unwanted pets already out there. Emma will be fixed as soon as her health permits, as I do not wish to put her through that again. (note: Emma was spayed about a year after her litter, and all of her puppies were spayed or neutered by 6 months of age per contract. YAY!)

Here is the story of Emma and her puppies!

*please note: I do not in any way or form support the breeding of underage or non-show/breeding quality dogs. I firmly believe that this breeding situation should not have have happened due to Emma's young age, Elliott's non-AKC accepted colour and the risk of hearing/site problems associated with the breeding of merles and the risks of breeding non-health certified dogs. Please educate yourself on your breed of dog and the ethics of breeding if you intend to breed your pets, it is YOUR responsibility!
